Stinky fingers
As a four year old the little girl’s brother once told her “Mommy says if you play with dog pooh, your fingers will become stinky.”
Later, in high school, her science teacher taught her “If you end up in a cesspool, and stay there too long, you will begin to rot and the maggots will infest and consume you. You will become stinky.”
As she became older and prepared for adulthood, her wise mother told her “Keep your side of life clean. If you prefer the company of the lecherous and insidious, their nature will creep into your soul and you will take on their guise. You will become stinky.”
Then came the moment – towards the end of her life - when she had to prepare for the unknown. Her spirit informed her with awareness: “Do not attach your spirit to the destructive or the spiritual limitations imposed by those who are fearful and despise their own wholeness. You will become stinky.”
Her last breath ultimately came, placid, and a realization of freedom - a final acknowledgement:' “I’m not stinky.”
