BEFORE READING THE BLOGS-TAKE NOTE OF THIS.

Welcome to my blog. Before you proceed, and especially if you are easily irritated or agitated, please take the time to the read the whole of this article. It is not long.

To the reader and commentator:

1. Everything read here constitutes the personal opinion of either myself or another contributor. However, it is important to realize that nothing said here is meant as a personal attack or criticism on a person or group of people. Contributions by other bloggers or commentators are specifically moderated to avoid demeaning statements, viciousness or propaganda.
2. Having stated the above, it is nevertheless possible that you may be offended or disturbed by the contents of these pages. If so, you are kindly invited to move on, close this blog and visit a site that pleases you more.
3. If it is your decision to read this blog, it is understood that you have read this cautionary and that you accept the rules pertaining to participation in these discussions.
4. RSS facilities have been incorporated in the blog should you be interested in receiving notifications of new blogs and comments. This does not require that you provide any information. Removing yourself from the RSS simply involves deleting the link to this blog on your reader.

To commentators and invited co-bloggers:

1. To comment on the blogs you need to register. This involves nothing more than providing a (user)name and e-mail address. Your information will be used for nothing else besides admittance to blog-participation. It will not be shared or sold or even used for communication from the site itself. As stated above, all entries here are moderated.
2. Most readers have heard and read the available repertoire of abusive language. Besides the expression of irritation or anger, swearing contributes little to eloquent discussion.  The same applies to hate-speech, threats of violence or any other banality which may be the result of the inability to communicate reasonably intelligently.
3. Although this blog is new, (with for me new software), it is the intention to eventually invite readers to start a new, related blog theme of their own. This won't happen automatically and each submission will be considered following registration. Please be patient while I implement this facility (which means learning something new once again.) 4. At this stage, there are no newsletters, but may be contemplated in the future. Once a newsletter has been started you will be able to read about it in the blogs, but will have to register separately to receive any future newsletters. Your existing information will not be used to inform, or register you for the newsletter.
