As one becomes older one becomes clearly aware of specific impacts certain people and animals - family, friends, acquaintances, and pets, have had one one's outlook and adjustment in life. Some have taught me lessons, others great pain and injury, while a large proportion have filled my being with jaw-dropping astonishment.

In a few cases, it is clear that I misunderstood some people or their actions at the time but as time passed the insensible became totally sensible a normal. The result is that I now regret my own short sightedness or prejudice as projected by me at the time.

Yet, in spite of everything and without the need of expectation, I feel that I should suspend my prejudices are merely express acknowledgement in the most detached - call it sterile if you want - as possible.

Some of the persons mentioned here are no longer on the earthly plane, and perhaps have no need to read this contents. For them I express my thoughts as a courtesy, and for others to know that there were those that influenced my life, of who they may not be aware.

Then there are the living, and those approaching death. Same thing, I hear you say.But not so, as those who are approaching death, and perhaps I'm speaking from experience, seem to have a kind of foreknowledge that tells them that fewer but more important aspects of life matter.

For those who still have a good many years ahead, if you have taken the trouble to read these lines, perhaps think about them, and that's acknowledgement enough. However, keep in mind that even with what we consider minor. everyday actions and words and thoughts does at times have a major impact on others, and even, perhaps, the future course of their lives.
